About Us
I’ve owned and run a world-class, very successful Stunt Academy for 22 years. We’ve trained actors and stunt performers for many live shows and film roles, especially Universal Studios Japan Stunt Team in 2000, for the opening of the Waterworld Stunt Show, Western Show, Terminator, and plenty of Street Shows.
In 2015, we launched Stunt Park, the action-packed epicenter of stunt action experiences on the Gold Coast.
Now eight years later I’ve created a new business, Event Stunts, in partnership with the extremely talented Gulliver Page.
The demand for edgy entertainment and live shows is growing in Australia and overseas. We have the creativity and talent to deliver events that people used to dream of.
The opportunity to bring adventure and excitement to live events is a dream turned into a business reality.
My successful stunt career in Film and Television only fueled the desire to create unique and visually stunning events. This is the foundation for launching Event Stunts in 2023.
Together with business partner Colin Handley, who is a stunt industry legend, our goal is to bring uniqueness, innovation, and creativity anywhere, anytime!
What We Do
Event Stunts is a collaboration of two seasoned Stunt Professionals, Colin Handley and Gulliver Page.
They started with a collaboration of creativity and talent to deliver the electrifying Live Action Show for Movie World's renowned 'Superheroes and Supervillains Parade.' This initial triumph fueled their aspirations, culminating in the birth of Event Stunts.
Now driven by a shared vision, to create captivating ‘Live Shows’, tailored for diverse settings, encompassing theme parks, corporate gatherings, cruise shows, grand-scale events, and attention-commanding promotions.
Their current focal point centers on delivering theatrical stunt rigging and performance. Event Stunts harness a network of the industry's most adept stunt performers, whilst fully understanding the necessity for a streamlined structure to oversee insurance, payroll, equipment inventory, staff scheduling, and administrative operations.

Movie World Superheroes and Supervillains Parade
June 2023 and June 2024 – Movie World Gold Coast Superheroes and Supervillains Parade was created from a collective of talented individuals who harnessed their creativity and expertise to bring to life an unforgettable show.
Months of rigorous preparation at Stunt Park laid the groundwork for the flawless execution of these electrifying performances. The result was a 23-day spectacular at Movie World, where the Superheroes and Supervillains Parade seamlessly blended with the theme park’s attractions, leaving an indelible impression on both executives and the enthusiastic audience.
The main act featured Batman and Robin, emblematic symbols of heroism and adventure. The spectacle began with Batman’s astonishing descent from The Daily Planet Building, orchestrated by an intricate Fly Rig. This daring entrance paved the way for a heart-pounding skirmish against a gang of thugs, showcasing the meticulous choreography and coordinated efforts of the performers.
Simultaneously, Robin took the stage with a fearless leap from a towering 10-meter structure, smoothly guided by a Decel Rig. This audacious move transitioned seamlessly into an enthralling showdown against the infamous Harley Quinn and enigmatic Joker.
This triumphant achievement marks a stepping stone for Event Stunts, hinting at an exciting future brimming with even more ambitious and imaginative endeavors in the realm of theme park entertainment. The Superheroes and Supervillains Parade not only captivated onlookers but also underscored the incredible power of collaboration and creativity that defines the ethos of Event Stunts and their extended team.
